*Transferring To Full/Part Time
Employees who transfer from PRN to full time or part time (.50 FTE or higher) will become eligible to participate in all of UF Health Jacksonville’s benefit programs.
You will be automatically enrolled in Prime Employee Only coverage as of the date of your transfer.
You will receive an email from the Benefits Department with instructions on how to enroll in benefits.
*Transferring To PRN
PRN positions are not eligible for benefits. The Affordable Care Act (ACA), though, does allow you to continue your medical coverage for at least the current plan year.
You will continue to be eligible to participate in the 401(k) and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
*Transferring To Part Time (less than .50 FTE)
Employees with a FTE of .49 or less (under 20 hours per week) are not eligible for benefits. The Affordable Care Act (ACA), though, does allow you to continue your medical coverage for at least the current plan year.
You will continue to be eligible to participate in the 401(k) and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
