Here at UF Health Jacksonville, we are proud to have a team of more than 300 volunteers who support our various departments and units, helping to improve the patient experience at both Downtown and North campuses.

We Love Our Volunteers

Volunteers are assigned to about 50 departments based on availability, interests, skills, and abilities. Some have direct patient interaction and others work behind the scenes. Whatever your interest or special skills are, we have exciting and challenging opportunities for you. Our volunteers are adults, men, and women of all ages with diverse background and skills, college students and teens. You can join the dedicated and compassionate individuals who devote time and talent to serving our patients, families and hospital staff.

More Ways You Can Help!

Donations

Volunteer Services collects donations from community and church groups, and individuals to support our patients.
Donations range from comfort items such as Heart Pillows, blankets and activity items for our pediatric patients.
Bereavement gowns and bonnets are also donated so still-born babies can be photographed. The gown and bonnets are given as a remembrance to the family along with the photograph.
